An Introduction

For those of you that might not know, my girlfriend Heidi and I will soon be embarking on quite a journey. We're leaving on May 11th and flying into Frankfurt, Germany, and from there we'll begin our self directed backpacking train tour of Europe. We have 18 day - 21 country Eurail passes, so we will be able to go pretty much anywhere in Europe. We'll be staying mainly in hostels, and our return date is May 29th. I plan to use this blog to document and share the trip with everybody, so comment away. It still hasn't set in for me that it occurs in only seven days :D

Also of note: I'm moving out of my current place on May 9th, and I also have most of my finals this week. My thoughts on this crazy schedule? Step 1: remove head. Step 2: run around like a chicken. This should be pretty interesting; i.e. the whole surviving thing and whatnot.
