Learned an interesting way to drink Newcastle. A guy we met named Mattias taught us.

That's Mattias on the left. He's a 19 year old Linux system engineer, cool guy.

I got destroyed by this meal. The sandwich is called a Big Tasty Bacon - basically a quarter pounder with 3 slices of cheese and gratuitous bacon underneath. So rich I couldn't finish.

Cory's sandwich wasn't ready yet so they gave him a number instead.

We have arrived in Prague.

The journey here was INTENSE. The Czech railway group is constructing a new bridge somewhere between the German border and Plzen (the town Heidi and I accidentally got off the train in before). Because of this, we had to get off of the train at the German border and ride a bus into the Czech countryside for about an hour. This wasn't mentioned in our Eurail guides, so we were kinda flustered due to the language barrier; where we were not many people spoke German, and nobody spoke English. After a while on the bus, we had to disembark and hop on a train for the rest of the journey to Prague. Navigating the Czech train station was interesting - it was a small town in the countryside, so there was minimal English there as well. We ended up on the correct train, and after six and a half long hour, we finally arrived in Prague.

Upon arrival to our hostel, we were bummed. The free wifi that is advertised on their website is no longer free, it's 5 euro for 24 hour. The amazing bar downstairs hasn't been open, and the new staff aren't nearly as friendly as the old staff. Tommy, our awesome barkeep from last time, is no longer there. Definitely a rocky way to start the jouney.

Later I'll be posting pictures from Nuremberg, and maybe a couple from Prague as well. Until then, peace out!

This is how koelsch is served. The glasses are .2L, and they just keep bringing more until you put your coaster on top of your glass. The koelsch was awesome, by the way :D
